  • Developed an application that employed a social network to facilitate the scheduling, inviting, and advertising of events on college campuses. Invented a method for determining the degree of connection between two nodes of the network in constant time (whereas the brute force algorithm is quadratic time, at best).

  • Repaired and expanded the capabilities of the intranet of the Physical Facilities Department. Wrote web-based reporting applications, web-based customer service applications (with ticket routing, escalation, etc.), and an improved authentication system.

  1. Helped develop a database-driven, e-Business management application. The application controlled multiple sites, order flow, customer notification, contact management, automatic sale price adjustments, and many other things. Also helped to create many public sites which implemented the e-Business management system.
    Used ASP, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, and SQL Server.
  2. Key member of the Implementation Team which customized the Synchrony eCRM (electronic Customer Relationship Management) product to fit client specifications.
    Used HTML, Java, JSP, JavaScript, and Oracle.
  3. Developed the database backend and ASP middleware for the synchrony.net public website and a private administration section set up so department heads can easily update the website themselves.
    Used Data Modeling, MS SQL Server 7, ASP, CSS, SSI and HTML.

September 15, 2004 to October 2, 2004

Reviewed a CMS written in PHP with a MySQL database backend. Wrote a 37 page report on the effectiveness and correctness of the programming style, database structure, and application design. The novice programmer who requested the audit stated that the report was invaluable.

Developed an application that would dynamically produce an animated countdown to the beginning of the next online class. The client can include this countdown in any page with one line of code and no additional setup.

Developed a database structure and programmed scripts to produce an ecommerce system to sell various locally-produced products. This system features a constant "mini cart" which conveys the number of items in a user's cart. The system also deals with complex relationships between a product, it's product category, and the producer(s) of that product.
