Author spends one sentence glossing over the problem of power storage. Too few people pay attention to the phase offset of the electricity demand curve and the solar generation curve. Using the grid as a battery (net metering) doesn't work when everyone has solar and is selling to the grid 4-5 hrs/day and wants power the other 19-20.
