Having seen many atrociously organized spreadsheets not fit for human consumption, improvement in AI interpretation of spreadsheet data could be quite helpful if only for helping to make sense of what someone else did when creating the beast. Some things (eg missing labels) that make it hard for a human to interpret will also make it hard for AI to interpret, but there is a lot of silliness that AI could unpack much more easily than a human (or even if it’s the same effort, AI doesn’t pause to bang its head on its desk).

While I wouldn’t rely on AI to do the real analysis, I would absolutely enjoy asking AI to help me figure out how to orient myself to someone else’s spreadsheet, including highlighting things that might be errors.
