Great points. Thinking that K-12 and ECE have no useful similarities is just as flawed as thinking K-12 and ECE are the same. There are meaningful differences but (a) I know there are meaningful similarities especially around the future use of data, and (b) to the extent ECE convinces itself it can't learn from the K-12 data maturity journey, it will be reactive and inefficient, and it will repeat the mistakes we made in K-12.
